Exactly a year ago, I started a dance arcade game called Pump It Up. It’s pretty OP how it changed my lives in terms of fun and cardio. Not to be confused with DDR (Dance Dance Revolution), Pump It Up has diagonal arrows instead of DDR’s up-down-left-right arrows.

I have been going for pump at least 1-2 times a week either after work or weekend noon. Gamification of cardio is the absolute game-changer.

When I started, I’m pretty sure I am quite below average. I didn’t grow up with any music or rhythm background, so my hit was always off. What kept me interested was how some of my friends used to play there and it sprung up that initial interest in me.

I was mainly playing singles until I switch to doubles earlier this year. Mainly clearing lvl 12-15s for each mode.

Lifetime goal is to be this guy :p

Gym + Pump It Up is da combination for now.
